About Lingo-Ease
Ms. Wendy Lam is a dually-certified speech-language pathologist and audiologist with the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA) and she is registered with the British Columbia Association of Speech/Language Pathologists and Audiologists (BCASLPA).
Ms. Lam has worked in private practice in both communication disciplines. Her professional experience ranges from articulation therapy for clients with hearing-impairment, cleft palate, and dysfluency (stuttering) to audiological testing, auditory processing assessment, and hearing aid fitting.

Ms. Lam received a Master of Science degree from the Faculty of Medicine's School of Audiology and Speech Sciences at the University of British Columbia. She graduated upon completion of a thesis on compressed (fast) speech funded by a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Scholarship. Ms. Lam first pursued her interest in language and human communication as a linguistics student at Simon Fraser University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. This interest arose from her multilingual background and her experiences of learning English at a young age. Now a fluent speaker of English, Ms. Lam also speaks Cantonese and some Vietnamese, Hainanese, and basic French.
As a resident of Vancouver, one of the most culturally diverse cities in North America, Ms. Lam realizes the need for specialized speech and language services to help those who struggle to communicate verbally in English. She has combined her dual training in the communication sciences of speech-language pathology and audiology with her first-hand experience of the language learning process to develop a comprehensive accent modification and communication training method.
Please contact Ms. Lam if you would like further information on the specialized services offered at Lingo-Ease.
