The most valuable thing I get from Wendy is the confidence to speak English.
Before I met Wendy, I have already recognized that I haven't spoken English in correct pronunciation, from my everyday life in Vancouver. I often had many problems when I was working at a café. Customers didn't understand what I said. Because of those experiences, I lost the confidence to speak English, and I didn't feel like speaking English any more.

When I first met Wendy, there were English sounds that I could not distinguish even though I had been in Canada for six years. Although I put a lot of effort into improving my pronunciation, I almost gave up on hearing the difference in those sounds. Before studying at Lingo-Ease Accent Modification, I thought that pronunciation was not as important as fluency like other Koreans thought. Even though I had a lot of opportunities to meet with native speakers at my work in Korea, I sometimes felt that they did not fully understand what I said.
